When we were approached by Leslie, her brand lacked a clear visual identity and a cohesive brand message, and her Shopify website had been put on the backburner.

Our objectives were to:

  • Create a cohesive visual identity that reflects the brand's core values of self expression, connection to nature, playfulness, and authenticity.
  • Develop a custom typeface and logo mark that communicates strength and sturdiness, while also evoking feelings of flow and playfulness.
  • Emphasize the uniqueness and quality of Studio Aki's handcrafted and custom jewelry through the brand's visual elements and messaging.
  • Design a Shopify website that extends her brand experience, all the way through checkout.

For Studio Aki's logo we crafted a unique all-caps typography with a slightly elongated shape to create a sense of stability and timelessness. The typography is accompanied by an abstract, woven orchid emblem, symbolic of the brand's bond with nature and playful character.
